Terms of Service

By downloading or using Aiza AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. About Aiza AI

Aiza AI is a personal AI companion application that provides AI-powered conversation, daily check-ins, journaling, and CBT-style thinking and goal tools. It is not a medical or mental-health service. It is operated by DilKiBaat (Taj Magsi, individual developer) ("we", "us", "our").

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Care

Aiza AI is not a medical service and does not provide clinical diagnosis or treatment. The AI companion is a supportive tool, not a replacement for professional care of any kind. If you are experiencing an emergency, please contact emergency services (911 or your local equivalent) or a crisis helpline immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Aiza AI. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@dilkibaat.ca if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Premium features, if and when offered, are billed through Google Play.
• Any subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or harm the app or its services.
• Use the app to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

7. Third-Party Services

Aiza uses third-party processors to run the app — including ElevenLabs (conversational AI), Supabase (accounts and cloud backup), OpenRouter (journal reflections), and Google/Firebase and PostHog (sign-in, analytics, crash reporting). Your use is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each receives.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in Aiza AI is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the app without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Aiza AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI responses will be accurate or appropriate for your situation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aiza AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
